E-Billing Solutions does not have a corporate office: we use a virtual office. Employees work out of the comfort of their own home. Information is shared via a server and email is the primary means of communication. Phone calls and faxes come to a central source and are distributed to the employee who needs them. A rigid 9-5 schedule is not enforced: employees can choose to work at night or on weekends. As long as the work gets done in a timely manner, the boss is happy.
A virtual office works for E-Billing Solutions because
Much of the work is data entry and therefore can be performed at any time of day. |
| |
Little collaboration is required among employees. |
Using a virtual office greatly diminishes operating costs and allows our employees much more freedom than they would have in a traditional office setting. It is truly a win-win situation.
Almost all companies could apply the use of a virtual office for at least their administrative staff. Many companies, like ours, could go completely virtual.
A virtual office is ideal for any company that specializes in administration such as:

Billing services |
| |
Accounting and Bookkeeping firms |
| |
Staffing companies |
| |
Law firms |
The costs associated with setting up a virtual office can vary depending on your company’s needs. Some companies may need to just share information. Others may require video conferencing and/or a phone system. These costs are quickly defrayed by the fact that
You no longer pay for office space. |
| |
You no longer pay monthly expenses such as utilities, cleaning and landscaping costs, and liability insurance, among others. |
| |
You may be able to change some of your employees’ status to 1099, saving you the costs of benefits and workers compensation insurance. Plus contracted labor is tax deductible. |
Did I mention that your employee retention rate would increase dramatically? There are so many cost-savings; both soft and hard, fixed and variable, that the total is difficult to quantify.
If you find yourself contemplating this move, the most pressing question you should ask yourself is “What happens if my competition goes virtual first?”
If you would like more information on how we can help your company make this paradigm shift happen, call or contact us.

I
like the fact that I can always reach the owner and when I do,
he is always personable and professional. And when there
is a special task that is needed from him or his staff, it is
done in a speedy time frame with thorough results.
