Who is E Billing Solutions, LLC?

E Billing Solutions is a family-run medical billing company servicing primarily Southern California.  Founded in September 2000 by husband and wife team Erik and Adriana Marquis, E Billing Solutions eschewed the traditional approach to billing for medical providers and decided to focus on services that made the provider’s life better.

Traditionally, billing services pick up patient data from the practice, enter it in their computer, and bill it.  They then provide the practice with reports showing the revenues received, revenues outstanding, etc.  This clumsy approach continues today by some of the largest companies in the industry.   New technologies and companies willing to embrace them are allowing practices many more options.  We have embraced them and our clients reap the benefits.  Our clients get a team of billing professionals, the dedicated service of a boutique firm, and the benefits of all technologies that are available.

E Billing Solutions was an early adopter of electronic billing, even getting featured in the San Diego Business Journal in 2001 despite being a startup company.  Our emphasis on innovation and flexibility also led to the introduction of our popular service, Virtual Biller^TM.  Virtual Biller^TM is a HIPAA compliant, remote connection that allows us to handle a practice’s billing duties using the practice’s software from our offices.  Thus the practice still has the access and control to handle day-to-day activities with the added bonus of having a permanent, experienced, and cost-effective team of professionals handling the billing.

Our flexibility extends to our employees as well.  E Billing Solutions uses a “virtual office”, meaning each employee works from his/her home office.  This allows us to attract and maintain highly qualified people.  This, in turn, means there is no disruption to our clients’ revenue streams.

   • Reduce payment turnaround times using formal appeal and collection process.

   • Help patients navigate their insurance policies.

   • Procure authorizations and retro-authorizations on behalf of patients.   

   • Appeal coverage denials on behalf of the patient rather than hold them responsible. 

3. Continually look for new and better ways to reach these goals for our clients.
